What weekly pool service includes
A weekly maintenance visit covers the work that keeps a pool healthy: vacuuming and brushing, skimming, chemical testing and balancing, filter cleaning, and a running check on your equipment. In the GTA market, weekly service typically runs around $90–$130 + HST per visit depending on pool size and what's included, quoted in writing, per visit or for the season.
The real product isn't the visit: it's never coming home to a green pool, never hauling chemicals, and catching the $200 problem before it becomes the $2,000 one. Balanced water also directly extends your liner's life: aggressive chemistry is the #1 thing that fades and brittles vinyl early.
What happens at every visit
Clean
Vacuum the floor, brush the walls and waterline, skim the surface, empty baskets.
Test & balance
Water tested on site; chlorine, pH, and alkalinity adjusted to keep water safe and liner-friendly.
Filter & flow
Filter cleaned or backwashed as needed; flow and pressure checked.
Equipment eyes-on
Pump, heater, and visible plumbing get a look every week; small leaks and odd noises get flagged before they strand you in August.
Liner check
A weekly look at the liner and waterline, because we can't help it. Problems get photographed and reported, not discovered in September.
Weekly, biweekly, or by the season
Most pools in the GTA do best on weekly service in July and August, when heat and use peak. Biweekly can work in shoulder months for lightly used pools. We'll recommend honestly, including telling you if biweekly is enough for your pool.
Weekly maintenance questions
How much does weekly pool service cost in Toronto?
GTA market pricing typically runs about $90–$130 + HST per visit, depending on pool size and what's included. Seasonal packages quote the whole summer up front.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most clients aren't. We just need access to the pool and equipment. You'll know we were there because the pool looks like it.
Are chemicals included?
Standard balancing chemicals are included as quoted. If your water needs a major correction (e.g., after a storm or a green recovery), we quote that separately before doing it, with no silent extras on the invoice.
Can you take over mid-season from another company?
Yes. We'll do a first-visit assessment, get the water right, and pick up the schedule from there.
